EnviroEtch _(TM) has been specifically designed to process solar cells.  It is very effective at completely removing layers of oxide from the top surface of single-crystalline, poly-crystalline, or multi-crystalline, edge grown, and ribbon grown substrates.  Layers up to 4,000 angstroms can be continuously removed minimizing labor and breakage, providing a truly continuous process for solar cell manufacturing lines. 

Testing has shown no significant difference between cells processed with the EnviroEtch _(TM)  and cells processed in wet baths.  If you have a solar cell line, the EnviroEtch _(TM) may be your answer to lowering your processing costs and increasing your throughput.
